Top 3 reasons why data / internet is not working on a smartphone
1.The phone is not functioning correctly – Restarting the device will fix this in most cases.
2.Data service / WIFI is not in range or turned off – Check the phone settings
3.Your phone is not in a coverage area – Check to see that you are in area that is covered by your service provider and if so check if there is an outage.

Restart your phone
This is the first thing you should do if you don’t have access to data / internet, this normally fixes this, if not proceed to the other two solutions listed below.
Check if your data / WIFI service is functioning correctly.
Ensure data is enabled on your phone, most phones you will see H+, EDG or LTE on the top right hand of the screen. If it’s not active go into the settings for the phone and activate. If you are not sure how to do so , please select that button and speak with one of the support agents.
Ensure WIFI is enabled – Check if your WIFI is connected (Usually the WIF symbol is displayed at the top right of the screen) and if you are and still unable to browse restart the WIFI router and try again. Check if you are in a coverage area & if there is an outage
Below are links to coverages maps for the main mobile operators in the US, check your operator to ensure you are located in a coverage area; if you are in a coverage area check to see if the there is an outage in that area.

If you are in area that is covered by your service provider then check if there is an outage. Check for mobile network outage.
